School is already right around the corner!

Can you even believe it? My daughter goes back to school on MONDAY!!! Some kids around here have already started. I live in Georgia now, but I suppose that I am still used to going back to school in September, as I grew up in NY. I think that it just gets too hot here to go later than May.

Anyway, I 'm happy to be back on WLE! I've not visited for awhile, as I have been quite busy! My biz is doing well (although a little slow right now) but I love what I do.

Mom visits...and makes a special request :)

My mom came to visit, and she asked me to do something for her....so I did...and I love it!! I usually make little kid stuff, but I ventured into adult clothing (just for her) and now she thinks I should sell it. I am pretty impressed with what I did....I'm not sure how well this would do on the 'open market' The black set is an Alexander Henry cotton print with hemmed edges and the earth tone print is a light, breezy gauze with super wide legs and lettuce edging. Hey y'all! Welcome to 2008!

I am way excited about this year. I mean...there's not something specific to be gleeful about, it's just...well...always a new beginning! Most people make resolutions. Not me. It's Thursday....

Wow! This week is going fast! I've been busy at work creating new shoe designs. I put up a new Strawberry Shortcake and a Christmas pair as well....wonder how they will do.

So I had the WIERDEST dream last night...well, this morning actually - between 5-6. I know this because my darling daughter decided that it was time to be awake from 12-430. Don't ask me why, because I couldn't tell ya. Anyway, I wish I knew a dream expert. Here goes ...

Times they are a-changing!

HEY!!! Today is my birthday. I'm 37. Remember when you were oh...say...12, and you thought that 20 was middle aged and anyone that was 40 was OLD?!? Hmmm. I don't feel old.
